We have an open door policy at AMWA and would like to think that we’re here when you need us.  We welcome your comments and participation, whether by phone to 903-804-8501, in person, or by email, and encourage you to attend any of the monthly meetings of our board of directors to hear about what AMWA has been up to.

VISIT THE AMWA OFFICES:

Our offices are located at 5302 FM 2495, just before the Lake Athens Bridge on FM 2495. The office is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., closing for lunch.  Keep in mind that we are a small office and periodically, it may be necessary to step out for meetings and/or to run errands in town.  Please consider giving us a call at 903-804-8501 prior to stopping by.  These hours may change, due to CoViD protocols.

BOARD MEETINGS:

Each month, our Board of Directors meets in Regular Session at 8:00 a.m. on the 2^nd Friday of the month (unless otherwise posted), in the Athens Municipal Water Authority's Headquarters, 5302 FM 2495.  During each meeting, a portion of time is set aside for citizens to express items of concern.  Citizens appearing during this time will be allowed to present their concern and are limited to a 3 minute time period.  Please note: the Board of Directors is prohibited, by law, from entering into deliberations regarding these items and if needed, the item may be referred to a future agenda for further discussion.
