AMWA has been presented with a lease proposal from Lake Star Marina Enterprises to lease the bait shop/convenience store for time frame of May 22 to September 9, 2015. We believe it is important for the wellbeing of the lake users and surrounding property owners for these facilities to be open during this period. The individuals involved with the tenant have shown an ability to be able to accomplish the obligations we believe are necessary to benefit the Lake and its surrounding community. As you may be aware they have undertaken work in the past few days in anticipation they would be successful in obtaining our approval of their lease proposal. Their enthusiasm and confidence are noted and we wish them the best in this endeavor. Further we will continue to work with this group, and others if they come forward, to enter into a long term agreement for the lease of the entire marina complex, including the restaurant and RV Park.
